Chris Kokolas was introduced to the art of hairdressing at a young age, thanks to his mother’s profession as a hair stylist. At the tender age of 15, he embarked on an apprenticeship, accompanied by four years of education at two reputable colleges in association with L’Oreal Proffesionel. 17 years later and after reaching a successful point in his career in Greece, he felt the urge to explore his craft on a global scale. 

Thus, he found himself in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where he had the opportunity to immerse himself in the diverse hairdressing styles and techniques from around the world, including Afro and Asian influences.

From there, Chris’s journey led him to the illustrious city of London, known as the Mekka of Hair and Style. He began his post education at the prestigious Vidal Sasson Academy and soon became a part of Ted’s Grooming Room, the largest barbershop chain in Europe, curated by Ted Baker. Here, he had the privilege of working alongside skilled Master Barbers hailing from countries such as Egypt, Morocco, Turkey, and Iran. It was during this time that he honed his skills in the art of cutthroat shaving, which offered an authentic experience reminiscent of an Ottoman Hamam. His next endeavor took him to the world-renowned Trueffit and Hill, recognized as the oldest barber shop in in the world opening its doors in 1805. This establishment catered to an incredibly discerning clientele, including Lords, Dukes, and Members of Parliament, providing Chris with an invaluable experience providing customer service to high-profile individuals. 

Finally, Chris’s journey led him to Forbici in Knightsbridge, conveniently located near the renowned Harrods. Here, he assumed the role as an area manager of a 6 shop locations that collaborated with the esteemed British men’s designer house of HACKETT. Working with an international clientele hailing from countries such as the USA, Japan, Russia, China, and UAE, he gained valuable insight into different cultures and customer expectations.  Now, Chris has returned to his roots in Greece, where he seeks to bring his expertise and passion to the heart of Athens. His vision is to offer bespoke barber services and unparalleled customer service.
